Here you will discover a complex of several buildings exhibiting the life, culture and the arts of pioneers and Native Americans of this region from the 1600’s through the 1930’s. Visit the 1886 Beckwith home, an example of elaborate Italianate architecture, built for Corn Palace founder Louis Beckwith. Celebrate the culture of the Middle Border Native Americans by viewing a collection of work by Yanktonai Sioux artist and designer for the 1949-1971 Corn Palace panels, Oscar Howe. Enjoy rotating exhibits of work by regional artists.
